Two questions: would you do it again (maybe with a mixer to make the taste better?) And are you ever tempted to consume other lab samples?
Yes I would do it again if I had the chance, yes I am always tempted to consume lab samples (I dissected a fetal pig in freshman year. I wanted nothing more than to rip out those organs and eat them. I indulged my need for violence by ripping apart the bones by hand.) And NO i would NOT use a mixer. That would VIOLATE THE SCIENCE. How the fuck am I supposed to accurately analyze how pure, concentrated disease tastes and if different viruses taste different if I intentionally introduce a confounding variable

I read an article about heart rate variability and how it indicates how good you deal with stress, …
Anyway, my Apple Watch gives me the numbers and you can check the data, basically when it measures which value.
The numbers are all over the place, like error bar is super big. So I do not know what to do with it.
Interestingly the number is low when I am busy (typically during morning battles with my kids about socks or sunscreen) and high during breathing exercises. The only question is- does my body react differently or does the watch measure differently??

I don't see how our bank can say both of these things on the same page with a straight face:
Tumblr media
vs.
Tumblr media
I'm obviously never using their dumb overdraft, but the vast chasm between those interest rates seems difficult to overlook. These statements are ~4in apart. They're not even trying.

doing this amazing new thing called eating well EVERY DAY and drinking enough water EVERY DAY and trying to get a bit of a healthy walk in EVERY DAY and sleeping at least 7 hours EVERY DAY... and then looking at my Fitbit stats like a nerd to see what happens EVERY DAY... will let you know if anything interesting does happen

Funny garmin “body battery” thing - I noticed that in the evening it gets down to 5% and stays there. And I was like damn but at least I’m coasting towards the end of the day.
Nope - wrong! Turns out it doesn’t go below 5 because telling people that their “body battery” died isn’t a great vibe. Lmao.

So do you think I'm stressed.
Tumblr media
I do think it aligns pretty well w how I feel in my body ngl. That brief blue moment was me lying down on the sofa 😂 But mostly seeing how I wake up fucked up is helpful. Daytime stress I can't do a whole lot about atm but I'm interested in seeing stress level over time (like weeks etc) and how it compares with my physical symptoms. I was getting kind of nauseous again at night. And it is probably helping in further identifying rest activities.
